SKYLIN Launch Race · Official Rules

Draft, pending legal review. The mechanics below describe exactly how the site works today. Clauses marked [LEGAL REVIEW] are not final and must be completed by counsel before any prize opens.

1. Sponsor

Sahand Ghandehari, 6511 Sussex Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5H 0K5, Canada. Contact: privacy@skylinvpn.com.

2. Campaign period

The Launch Race has not started. Dates will be published here before it opens. The server’s clock decides when the campaign and each prize open and close.

3. Eligibility

[LEGAL REVIEW: eligible regions and exclusions (e.g. Quebec)] [LEGAL REVIEW: minimum age, employee exclusions, one account per person]

4. How to take part

Join the SKYLIN waitlist with your email and confirm it from the email we send. Joining is free. No purchase is necessary to join, earn points or enter any prize. [LEGAL REVIEW: whether an alternative (no-referral) entry method is required, and how it works]

5. Referrals

Each member gets a personal link. A referral counts only when someone joins through it, confirms their email, and the referring member has also confirmed theirs. Link visits, clicks, shares, unfinished signups and duplicate or self-made accounts never count. Referrals that show signs of automation or duplication are held for manual review and earn nothing while held. A referral removed after review is reversed in the member’s visible history.

6. Signal Points and ranking

Points are awarded by the server only, from verified events, as configured at the time of the event: points for confirming your email, for each verified referral, and a network bonus when someone you invited makes their own first verified referral. Current values are shown on every Launch Pass. Each award is recorded once in an append-only history.

Launch Rank orders confirmed members by: (1) Signal Points, highest first; (2) verified referrals, most first; (3) the time the member reached their current points, earliest first; (4) the order members confirmed their email. There are no other adjustments. Launch Rank is separate from the Early Access Position, which sets the order members receive the app.

7. Milestones

8. Prizes

No prize is currently offered. Before any prize opens, its quantity, approximate value, eligible regions, dates, entry method, limits and winner selection will be published here.

9. Winners

[LEGAL REVIEW: winner verification, release forms, prize substitution, taxes, unclaimed prizes, publicity consent] Winners are never named publicly without their permission.

10. Privacy

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Emails are never shown publicly. The leaderboard shows only a display name a member chose, or an anonymous label.

11. Questions and disputes

Email privacy@skylinvpn.com. [LEGAL REVIEW: dispute process and governing law]

12. Changes

[LEGAL REVIEW: right to modify, suspend or end the campaign, and notice given]
